Smartmove blew me away. Smartmove was easy to book and communicate with. They were understanding and flexible when our move date was changed multiple times due to a tricky chain. They were polite, professional, and humorous on the day of a stressful move. We were delayed getting into our new home due to a banking error but they were sympathetic and adaptable working far beyond the hours I was anticipating they would do to see us into our new home. I’m just now sitting down after 2 long days of moving house and the first thing I am compelled to do is write how amazing my experience was with Smartmove. We paid for the full packing and moving service. The price for this ( as with any company) is not insignificant but having seen what the team do it’s some of the best money I have ever spent. I had Reeve, Olly, Conrad and Harry helping me over the last couple of days. They calmed me down, they made me laugh and most importantly packed and moved mine and my family’s lives over to our new place with impressive speed and efficiency.

Smartmove have been amazing from start to finish. I moved from a 5 bed property to a 3 bed property and Smartmove also stored all the furniture and contents for 5 months in between the two properties. Would love to leave a good review as I was impressed by the actual move but unfortunately since then has been terrible from Smartmove. There was some damage to some of our belongings that we contacted them about to resolve and have been ignored for 3 weeks. So there is a risk for anyone using Smartmove that if they do move your things and cause any damage, there will be no way of getting them to make it right unfortunately. Also they don’t appear to be accredited so no way of going to the ombudsman about them.

We decided that we were going to choose Smartmove before we had had visits and quotes from other companies! We liked Matt's informal, friendly, nothing's a problem attitude.
Our move faced delay after delay. We were initially told that we would be moving mid January and after a number of other possible time scales, we finally moved on the 8/3/24! The admin staff were so kind, sympathetic and patient with us.
We moved over 3 days so we became pretty pally with our team, Johnny, Conrad, Oli, James and Travis. They were fantastic, they really went above and beyond for us. Thank you Smartmove

A great service from everyone. The office was extremely helpful and efficient and the teams who helped us move were fantastic! They were quick but extremely careful and problem solvers at every step - they overcame any difficulties in the move without causing us any stress..

We couldn't have asked for a better removal company and their pricing was also very competitive. Great quality service from beginning to end.

I can’t recommend the Smartmove team enough. Moving is a really stressful time in life and relocating to a new city even more so. To have smooth admin and necessary reassurance throughout the process was really important to me and they delivered.

Sam drive first thing and was super helpful and loads of fun throughout. He even sent me a photo of all my belongings safely in the storage container at the other side.

Thanks Justine, Sam and all behind the scenes. You’ve all been brilliant. You can’t keep the pink cowboy hat though!

On the day of the move the team were in contact to discuss arrival times. Liam, Oli & Travis made our house move stress free. Professional and friendly throughout the move. With some small and awkward stairs they managed manoeuvre the majority of our furniture upstairs when we didn't think it would be possible.
